ADDITIONAL BLADDER MATERIAL INFORMATION
PVC (F-1) Technical Specifications
Material Description: Modified vinyl based terpolymer. Formulation meets specifications of ANSI/NSF61 and AWWA D130.
Available Thicknesses: 0.020”, 0.040”, 0.050”, 0.065”, 0.080”, 0.100”, 0.125”, 0.187”, 0.250” Singly ply, extruded
Typical Applications: Corrosion resistant against most inorganic acids, in a wide concentration range, against caustic, and a limited number of organic chemicals. Primary use is for potable water. Uses also include water treatment and containment of acetic acid, vinegar, sugar solutions, molasses, phosphoric acid, detergents, wine, pharmaceutical materials, bleach, fruit preserves, jam, syrup, soft drinks, animal feed stock, whiskey, etc.
PVC (J-22) Technical Specifications
Material Description: Modified vinyl-based polymer, including up to 3% polyvinylidene chloride, and polymeric non-migrating plasticizers.
Available Thicknesses: 0.040”, 0.065”, 0.080 Singly ply, extruded
Typical Applications: Extremely corrosion resistant against most inorganic acids, in a wide concentration range, against caustic, and a limited number of organic chemicals. To be used for almost all plating, etching, leaching solutions, all fertilizers, bleach steel pickling, for water reservoir lining, water purification, water treatment chemicals, paper chemicals, etc.
Urethane (S-1) Technical Specifications
Material Description: Modified urethane elastomeric cross-linked material with additives to improve chemical and weathering resistance.
Available Thicknesses: 0.015”, 0.030”, 0.040”, Non-backed
Typical Applications: Corrosion resistant against most organic solvents, alcohols, ketones, gasoline, jet fuel, oil, etc. Excellent for applications where abrasion resistance is desirable. Has excellent retention of physical and chemical properties at very low temperatures including cold crack, abrasion resistance, and resistance to oil, gasoline, jet fuel, etc.
